Joined Careys Manor Hotel in 1997
I have always enjoyed sport and participated in athletics and cross country at school. At Chichester University I gained a Sports Science degree and in 1997 I joined Careys Manor’s Carat Club (the hotel’s health club before SenSpa was created) as a Fitness Instructor and progressed to Spa Manager.
I have run the London Marathon twice whilst at university and a host of ½’s and 10K’s. I converted to triathlon when an overtraining injury prevented me from running for 4 months and even progressed to national level, representing Ireland in a European Cup race, but bowed out afterwards when I realised I would need to give up work, find a sponsor and train full time if I wanted to take it any further.
I also love SCUBA diving which I started aged 5 and have been for some time an Open Water Instructor. I started surfing whilst at university to stay in the water whilst there was no diving.
I am never happier than when outside doing something that pushes my body or nerves to the edge and then a bit further just for the hell of it. At SenSpa, I teach Body Pump, Body Balance, Circuits and Aqua. I will coach anyone but really enjoy helping people who have an end goal they are looking to accomplish and are prepared to work hard to achieve it.

Coming from a very sporty and active family, I have always enjoyed a variety of sports/activities, and trying out new adventures and challenges such as climbing, skiing and snowboarding.
From enjoying ballet and gymnastics at a very young age, then moving onto badminton in which I played in the Dorset County Team for a number of years, to being a synchronised swimmer for 6 years, competing to a high standard.
After 6th form I ventured out to work in Wisconsin, America on a summer camp as an activity leader then completed my travels by touring round America for a further 4 months.
After completing Premier’s level 3 Diploma in personal training and sports massage therapy I set up my own business, then seizing the opportunity to gain great experience and work for a world class spa I finally arrived at SenSpa in April 2002.
I am a very sociable person therefore enjoy meeting and listening to new people. As I lead a healthy and active lifestyle I find it rewarding to advise and help other people in achieving their goals. Whether it is as a personal trainer in the gym or bringing them to our variety of classes.
I enjoy teaching bodypump, bodybalance, circuit training, fitball conditioning and Aqua.

I have always been keen on sports and helping others to enjoy sport, from playing football in my school team and helping to coach football to the younger year groups, as well as coaching under 15`s football in Verwood. Currently I enjoy a wide range of sport, from surfing to skiing and also play football on Sunday mornings.
In March 2009, I went on the Premier Diploma in Advanced Personal Training level 3 and on completion of this course joined the SenSpa team.

I have always been dedicated to sport since I could remember. I started off playing football for a local team and then progressed to sports captain for my school. I currently enjoy cycling, running, five a side football and mixed martial arts.
I completed all my qualifications with Lifetime Fitness Academy and this including level 2 Fitness and I am currently doing my level 3 fitness training.
I am a sociable person and I love to see people achieve their short and long term goals. I push my clients and myself to do this. I teach body balance, aqua, fitball conditioning and circuit training.
