Rhassoul Mud Treatment

The Rhassoul takes its name from the mud we use, from the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. Rhassoul mud has been used since the 7th Century by men and women alike. Our Rhassoul experience takes place in a private mosaicked steam chamber where two pots of Rhassoul mud await you.

After applying the mud to your body, face and scalp (if you wish) you sit and relax for 25 minutes whilst the mud works its magic. During this time you will hear gentle music and occasionally steam will fill the room to keep the mud soft and pliable. At these times you can work the mud over your body. Towards the end of the session an overhead water mist is released and after this an overhead shower signals that it is time to remove the mud. Any remaining mud is removed with the Kneipp hoses on the wall.
