Traditional Thai Massage

"I tried the traditional Thai massage, and can safely say that my therapist delivered absolutely the best massage I have ever had." The Travel Editor.com.

Thai massage is comprehensive bodywork that works the entire body from foot to head. You will receive great benefit from a 1 hour session but if you have the time have the 1½ hour option, you won't be sorry. Though the main focus of Thai massage is to rebalance the flow of energy in the body by working up and down the 'sen' or energy lines of the body, it also works on muscle, ligaments, tendons, joints and connective tissue. Thai massage practitioners use a number of techniques such as applying pressures using thumbs, fingers, heels of the hand, heels of the feet, knees, elbows and forearms. Limbs and joints are stretched and rotated to encourage more freedom and range of movement. You are given a set of comfortable Thai pyjamas to wear for your session.

Who is it suitable for?

Recommended for those who enjoy deep bodywork, those who prefer not to undress and anyone with muscular tension. It is very helpful for sports people or for those who use their bodies in a repetitive way, such as working at the computer for long hours.
