SenSpa Beauty Tips | Coffee & Banana Body Polish
23rd Sep 2014
During our recent SenSpa beauty workshop we taught guests how to create their own body beautiful products at home.
Suitable for all skin types
Sugar and ground coffee exfoliates the skin and the caffeic acid found in the coffee grounds can significantly reduce inflammation and aid wound healing. Honey and yogurt contains natural acids which are anti bacterial and nourishing for the skin. Banana is also great for nourishing the skin. Sesame oil is hydrating and allows the body polish to glide gently on the skin.
- 1 tablespoon ground coffee
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- ½ tablespoon yogurt
- 1 tablespoon banana
Mix all ingredients together well in a bowl. Keep refrigerated and use within 3 days.
Apply to the body in small circular motions, rinse off well with warm water and pat dry.
