How to Host a Spa Day Party at Home
21st Oct 2016
Treat your friends to a spa day party at home and reward yourselves for all your hard work with a night or day of pampering, that's also a fabulous way to get everyone together!
Pick a day when you know your closest friends are free and send them homemade invitations. Use the following as a checklist to have the best spa day at home and be the perfect host:
1. Transform your home into a spa
Make the living room extra cosy; close the curtains, lower the lighting, light some candles and burn SenSpa's Signature scent in an oil burner. Play soothing music throughout your home to keep the ambience flowing. Specify a seating area for friends and lay a towel for each of them. Request that your guests bring their own robe and slippers and lead them to a private room so they can get comfy straight away.
2. Welcome guests with a fresh hot towel
Roll small hand towels and damp them with water then microwave them. Keep them warm and smelling gorgeous by sprinkling them with mint leaves and wrapping in cling film until guests arrive. A mimosa upon arrival always goes down well too!
3. Create your own Manicure & Pedicure station
Set up manicures and pedicures with a bowl of warm soapy water and a splash of aromatic oil such as the SenSpa Signature Scent Oil. SenSpa's hand and foot creams are paraben free and packed with natural essential oils for instant hydration and soft skin that your friends will love.
4. Relax with a Face Mask
Use one from the Senspa boutique, such as the SenSpa One Minute Radiance Mask on hand. Leave on for just one minute or relax for a further 10 whilst bilberry, sugar cane, sugar maple, orange, and lemon cleanse, exfoliate and revitalise skin.
5. Healthy Snacks
Whip up a light and healthy lunch with some delicious snacks, such as a chicken and avocado salad accompanied by tuna and watermelon skewers with lemon coulis. Ensure there’s a jug of iced lemon water and encourage everyone to keep hydrated.
6. Prepare a parting gift
Inexpensive spa items, such as a scented candle or bath salts, like these Detox Bath Salts from SenSpa make the perfect spa gift. Containing the SenSpa signature scent, the detoxing bath salts smell amazing and induce complete relaxation. A blend of 9 essential oils were uniquely selected to create a spa ambience reminiscent of the exotic East to make bath time heaven.
7. Arrange a date for a SenSpa Spa day
A luxury spa day with friends at SenSpa is a great alternative to hosting at home. Add a choice of pampering treatments such as a spa facial, detox massage or manicure to your spa day package - such as the Wellbeing Spa Day which includes a light healthy breakfast and two course lunch in the Zen Garden Thai restaurant.
