How To Make A Great New Years Resolution
27th Dec 2017
Everyone knows how difficult it can be to stick to New Year's resolutions. The key to maintaining will power all year is by creating resolutions that will have a positive impact on your life and that you’re confident you can stick to. Here are SenSpa’s top 3 tips for making realistic New Year resolutions:
Reflect on last year
Think of any mistakes and mishaps you made last year that had an impact on your life. Was stress getting on top of you which led to dropping healthier habits and taking up unhealthy ones? If so, make the resolution to deal with stress in effective ways, like exercise or treating yourself to a spa day more often. SenSpa offer the the SenSpa Exclusive Spa Day membership which offer you the chance to treat yourself to 4 spa days a year but spread the cost over the year with a pay monthly plan. Purse friendly and sure to keep stress levels low.
Write it down
Write the resolutions down as well as the positives and negatives of sticking to the resolution. More often that not, a negative will be hard to find and this will provide a written reminder and the motivation to persevere. If the positives are flowing off the paper, then you’ve got a winning New Years resolution!
Create resolutions that will last all year
Deciding to adopt a new fad diet or rigorous exercise regime will be tough to maintain all year. Instead, conduct research into your end goal and find smaller ways to adopt it into your lifestyle, such as making healthier snacks at home or by joining a gym and committing to 1 day a week. The SenSpa Health Club Membership not only includes access to our luxury gym but a free personal training session each week, as well as access to the spa facilities!
Take the plunge and begin planning your New Year’s resolutions today for a successful new year.
