Which is the best moisturiser?
25th Feb 2019
We caught up with SenSpa's Boutique Manager, Laura Shackell to get her insight to the best moisturiser depending on your skin type.
Moisturisers are an important part of any skincare routine. Without a moisturiser your skin can become dry leaving it feeling uncomfortable as well as looking dry and dull. All skin types need a moisturiser as they provide all round hydration with some helping to firm, tone and combat different skin conditions. Natural and Organic moisturisers are recommended to use. Manmade synthetic moisturisers can give you the impression of hydration, but they end up sitting on the skin and not actually being absorbed which doesn’t benefit the skin. A moisturiser works in one of two ways: either by trapping moisture in the skin to keep it from escaping, or by restoring moisture in the outer layer of skin that’s already been lost.
If you are uncertain about which product would be best for your skin, I would recommend a skincare consultation to make sure you are using the best moisturiser that suits your skin type and combats any skin concerns you may have.
‘Finding the perfect moisturiser depends on your skin type, because not one size fits all'
Whether you're dry, oily or a combination of the two, there's a moisturiser for you.
Here are the best moisturises dependant on your skin type:
