Tips On Dieting

Dieting doesn't have to be stressful or difficult, it's all down to your mindset and how motivated you are to change your lifestyle to feel better about yourself. Here's our tips on dieting, there's no set meal plan or calorie count, it's far simpler than that!
Don't set a big goal to achieve. If you're aiming to lose a stone, 14lbs seems like a lot of work so set yourself a collection of smaller targets and you're more likely to reach your overall goal.
Do drink lots of water. It's great for your skin and it hydrates you which can increase your metabolism.
Don't starve yourself or skip meals. This just means your body will hold on tighter to your next meal if you do. Plan and prepare your meals so you can keep track on what you're eating and how much you're eating.
Do eat breakfast. Leading on from the above, it's extremely important as it wakes your digestive system up and creates energy.
Don't look for quick fixes. The truth is quick fixes don't work; they may look like they do on the scales initially however eventually the pounds will creep back into your life and unfortunately, in some cases they bring their extra pound friends with them.
Do try to exercise. It'll get your blood pumping and the calories...burning! Join a gym and invest in some PT sessions, these sessions are invaluable in ensuring you're doing the right kind of exercise and will help you get in shape. Don't be discouraged by the G word, you don't need to move in and live there, a couple of times a week will be enough.
A positive don't is not to let the diet rule your life. If you allow yourself to constantly think about it and obsess over every calorie consumed you're less likely to achieve your goal. Make it easy; allow yourself some treats, don't expect miracles on the scales and certainly don't weigh yourself every day as weight fluctuates. Some don't go by numbers on the scales anyway, they go by how they look and feel in their clothes and actually we think this is a great way to do it.
