Virtual Workshop: The Power Pause

So many of us are feeling collectively depleted right now. We’ve been running on stress hormones for the last 18 months, and many of us are suffering with chronic stress and depletion.
In this session, Integrated Nutrition Health Coach & Mindfulness Teacher, Louise Barton, will share practical 'Power Pause' tools with you to help you dial down stress and overwhelm and boost energy, positivity and motivation!
If you are feeling a bit stuck, a bit unmotivated or a little uninspired when it comes to self-care, join Lou for this workshop! This is self-care for those of you that feel like you are too busy for self-care or who constantly put their needs to the bottom of the ‘to do’ list.
The workshop will cover…
- The power of the breath: don’t underestimate the power of a few deep, purposeful breaths – breathwork has the ability to help you de-stress and to boost your energy too.
- Gratitude: Do you practice gratitude on a daily basis? Maybe you are fed up with the standard ‘3 things I’m grateful for’ practice? Unlock the power of gratitude! Discover how gratitude can boost energy and positivity, and learn some fresh ways to weave gratitude into your day.
- Power Pause: There is power in the pause. Taking time to rest, re-charge and ground is vital for reducing stress, overwhelm and depletion. My Power Pause method means that you can micro-dose on self-care throughout your day to keep you going. Just 1 or 2 minutes is all you need to re-set your mindset, and take the edge off stress. I’ll share a few of my favourite Power Pause tools with you that you can integrate into your day to help you cope a little better.

As a certified Integrated Nutrition Health Coach & Mindfulness Teacher, Lou takes a truly holistic approach to health and wellness by supporting people to nourish themselves ON and OFF the plate.
Lou studied at the Institute of Integrated Nutrition (IIN), where she studied over 100 dietary theories, learned innovative coaching methods and practical lifestyle management with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. She has also taken additional specialist training in hormone health (IIN), as well as being a mindfulness teacher. She is a member of the Institute of UK Health Coaches.
Lou is a guest columnist for Natural Health magazine and has also been featured in SheerLuxe, Yoga magazine, Planet Mindful, Marie Claire, Cosmo and many more. Lou has worked with over 50 brands including Naturya, Linwoods Healthfoods, Dorset Cereals, The Coconut Collaborative, and Muddy Puddles. Lou is also a health and wellbeing expert on the @baby2body team and has worked with them to develop coaching programmes for their 2 million members.
