"The humble celery stalk is a great one to start with. Celery juice helps reduce fat build-up in the liver as well as improving digestion by increasing circulation in the intestines. A 7 day stint should be plenty of time to kick start your cleanse if using the recommended daily amount of 170g per day (juice from about 2 packs of celery). You can start with half of that amount and gradually increase to the full amount."
- Chop your celery and add them to your juicer/ high-speed blender.
- Add a small amount of water if needed, but try to use as little as possible so you don’t dilute the juice.
- Then place a muslin cloth over a jug and pour the pureed juice into the bag.
- Use your hands to squeeze the celery juice through the bag.
Detoxing your skin through facial massage is another powerful technique. As your lymphatic system does not have a pump like your circulation system, lymphatic drainage can only be achieved through movement and massage!
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
A lymphatic drainage massage serves to drain build up of lymphatic fluid within your face. The gentle, light massage treatment enhances circulation in your face by delivering oxygen around the skin and pushing waste and toxins out of the lymph nodes.

The Double Cleanse
Cleansing your skin with oil isn’t just a topic that’s trending, it’s truly the key to clean, balanced and healthy skin. Several skin issues people experience can be significantly improved by simply cleansing the skin properly. Method: Massage the cleansing oil onto dry skin for at least a minute - with upward and outward circular motions (working against gravity!). And pay special attention to problem areas, allowing the oil to dissolve makeup, impurities and sebum that have built up in your pores. Gently wipe (don’t rub!) away impurities with a warm facial towel. Keep in mind that it may take 2-3 weeks for your skin to fully adjust to this method of cleansing, as your complexion may need some time to fully detoxify from the build-up that has been residing comfortably in your pores up until now.
